LEVEL 1 UMPIRE

The purpose of the level one course is to enable both those with experience of the game (players) and those with little experience (volunteers/parents) to be able to safely officiate a game in conjunction with other qualified officials.

LEVEL 2 UMPIRE

A level 2 umpire is able to control a school/uni/club level game calmly, firmly and safely. Building on your initial umpiring experience, at Level 2 you will work on your knowledge and skills and develop your confidence on the field.

LEVEL 3 UMPIRE

If you are a confident and experienced umpire able to cope with anything that comes up in school/club/uni games and ready for a further challenge, you should aim for your Level 3. L3 umpires demonstrate excellent knowledge and skills. They provide leadership in ordinary games and are ready to tackle Regional play as part of a more experienced team.
