PLYMOUTH UNIVERSITY LACROSSE CLUB
University of Plymouth Lacrosse club is one of the fastest growing clubs. We welcome all abilities and most of our freshers have never played the sport before so do not be afraid. Founded in 2008 we are entering our twelth year as a club and eleventh as a competitive force in the British Universities and College Sport leagues. We currently offer four teams which enable us to cater for all levels of ability. Members will have local friendly games and regional tournaments with regional universities. Ladies 1st team – Competing in the BUCS Western 2A league, South West Tournament League and entering Nationals. Ladies 2nd Team- Regional tournaments and friendly games with other universities such as UWE, Cardiff and Falmouth. Our Ladies teams train on Mondays and Saturdays, playing BUCS matches on Wednesdays (training on Wednesdays when there is no match). Ladies freshers trainings are on Thursdays, with Wednesdays and Saturdays all girls training together. There will also be regular local friendlies for the 2nd team to give girls an opportunity to improve skills and learn more about the game.
Players of all abilities are welcome. Beginners are given assistance at trainings by experienced players.
